Your goals for this module
I think I want to learn about what coding is and how it can be used creatively. I know that there is the back end to coding which is used to help maintain the site in terms of the data, security, server architecture, backup, etc. Then there is the front end where you work on the UI and this is what I think of as creative coding. What can coding do in the art realm?
I see that some suggested tasks are to take a HTML, CSS and Python course on Codecademy. I have some experience with HTML so it would be a much needed refresher on the language. I know Python already. I am curious what CSS is. I want to try out Processing, it seems like a fun program to play around with.
The end product you hope to produce
I know that HTML will create the content a website. I am not sure what end product I want to have. I think I will have to use the resources to see what I can make. Maybe I can start a website.
